On July 16, 1989, a flag star was born in Cardiff, Wales. He was Gareth Bayer, a Wilkes football player who played at the Real Madrid Football Club in Spain.

When he was in high school, Bell went to the youth training camp of the Flag Football Club in Southampton for training. In 2007, Bell joined Tottenham Hotspur Football Club in the Premier League for 5 million. Bell has played for Spurs for six seasons, making 138 appearances and scoring 42 goals.
