Flag of Mount Qomolangma

Today, we use the flag to learn about the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest.

Mt. Everest is the main peak of the Himalayas and the highest mountain in the world. It is located on the border between China and Nepal and is owned by both China and Nepal.

Mount Qomolangma is located in Dingri County of Tibet in the north, Zaxi Zongxiang in Dingri County in the west, Qudang Township in Dingri County in the east, Qomolangma headquarters in the south, and Nepal in the south. The peak is located in China, and it is the highest peak in the world.

The flag of Mount Qomolangma stands tall and mighty, consisting of four peaks. Mount Qomolangma is the center of the nature reserve and Nepal National Park, which spans four counties in China.

Mount Qomolangma means “mother of the earth” in Tibetan, and “Langma” means “goddess”. Because there are four peaks near Mt. Everest, each of which has a flag, Mt. Everest ranks third, so it is called Mt. Everest.

Mount Qomolangma has two heights: the total height climbed by climbers and the snow cover height used by climbers such as Nepal is 8848 meters.

In addition to being the highest mountain at elevation, it is also the fifth farthest from the center of the earth. The first time humans reached the top: May 29, 1953. The climbers were Tenzin Norgay of Nepal and Edmund Hillary of New Zealand.
